At only 18-years-old, Atlanta born singer/songwriter and Quality Control’s youngest Metro Marrs is proving to the music industry that he’s more than ready for the spotlight. Metro just released his debut mixtape Popular Loner which gained praise from Complex, XXL, Revolt TV, and many more, plus earned him Pigeons & Planes Best New Artist for the month of June. With already over 5M streams on his music he shows his charisma, melodic wordplay, and impressive skill set. Metro Marrs also has deep-seeded altruism and kindness, partnering with Emerging 100 Atlanta - an org that mentors high school students. He made national headlines during graduation this past spring when he tossed $10K to his classmates which led him to being detained by Atlanta PD. As a result, Metro took the high road and launched the Loners Rainy Day Scholarship--a campaign which granted his graduating class Valedictorian and Salutatorian $10K to congratulate them on their hard work. Metro Marrs is a prime example of what good influence can do to a community. With exciting new collaborations and performances in the works for 2021, the best is yet to come.
